About Us

A shilling a Day, For All

MimiNiSisi is a charitable organization founded and registered in Kenya to fundraise in support of the needy Kenyans who are affected by prolonged drought, lack of access to clean water, quality health care and education.

The foundation has been established by passionate Kenyans  who are driven by the need to make a positive impact in the lives of Kenyans across the country and in our local communities.

Our focus is to provide long-term sustainable solutions, for everyday social issues that affect majority of vulnerable Kenyans through fundraising as a Service.

By leveraging the power of mobile and technology,  we are enabling Kenyans to donate via USSD *354# , any amount as low as Kes. 1.50 or 2 shillings which is deducted daily from the subscribers airtime.

Our Vision

At our foundation, we believe that every member of the community has the potential to create positive change. We are committed to empowering individuals and communities by providing them with the resources and knowledge they need to build a sustainable future for themselves. We desire to see a Kenya that is driven by compassion for our fellow brothers and sisters in need. With your support, we envision a prosperous future for every man, woman and child in Turkana.

Through our projects we aim to bring hope through the provision of tools and resources that allow our fellow citizens to dream and build their own futures as they see fit. By funding the drilling of boreholes we can provide clean water, ensure food security and provide education that will make a positive impact and transform lives in this region.

Our Mission

The mission is simple really, we must be the change we wish to see in the world ourselves first before we can enlist others to help us. In that regard we at MiMi Ni SiSi are committed wholeheartedly to seeing this vision come to light so much so that each and every one of us here is a donor and a sponsor. We are grateful for the support of donors and partners who believe in our mission as much as we do and have taken up the challenge as fellow citizens in this human effort to create a better future for the people of Turkana.

We are excited about the impact we are creating and our goal is to spread this impact as far as we can, starting with Kenya and Africa. Therefore, we invite you fellow citizen to join us in our efforts to create positive change and help make a difference in the lives of people in Turkana today and tomorrow the World. How We Work

We drive action

We believe that one single action drives a set of acts, acts of kindness, acts of hope, acts of restoration.

We drive action for the change we want to see in humanity

We are doers

We believe that the things we do, the way we do them has a lasting impact on the world around us.

To us, actions are more important than words.

We are inspired by the people around us, whose expertise challenges the norm and develops a platform to ensure we are doing something everyday.

We believe a shilling goes along way in tackling issues faced by Kenyans everyday.

We are engaging

We believe in the power of partnerships and connection.

We know we can’t do it alone and that is why we seek others to build a community that works to alleviate social challenges and restore human dignity.

Mama Doing Good, is one of the partners we are working with in tackling social issues.

We are change agents

Our firm believe and hope is in restoring dignity and humanity, one shilling, a day.

We know that we can’t solve recurring problems, the same old way, that is why we invented a simpler, smarter solution allowing Kenyans from all walks of life to donate a shilling, two or three easily and conveniently via mobile.
